Anxious moments in Ridgetown after bomb threats

Two bomb threats in Ridgetown are under investigation.

Officers responded to bomb threats at the Foodland and the Tim Hortons in Ridgetown on Wednesday morning, but luckily found nothing suspicious.

"Officers flooded the area and cleared both businesses," said Constable Renee Cowell, public information officer with Chatham-Kent police.

Police said each of the phone calls was made by an unknown person with an East Indian accent.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
