Theft from employer leads to charges

An 18-year-old is facing theft charges for allegedly stealing from his employer.

Police were called to a business in Chatham on Thursday to investigate a theft complaint.

Following an investigation, officers arrested the man and charged him with theft under $5,000.

He was released with a future court date.

Breaching curfew lands man in custody

Chatham-Kent police arrested a 35-year-old man in Wallaceburg after receiving a call about a suspicious person.

Officers responded to the call Friday morning and located the man, who they learned was breaching a court-ordered curfew.

The man was arrested and released on the scene with a pending court date.
