Three people arrested on outstanding warrants

Police are able to cross three names off their wanted list after a busy Saturday.

First, an officer on general patrol Saturday morning spotted a man on O’Neil Street in Chatham who was known to be wanted on an outstanding committal warrant.

The 36-year-old was arrested and transported to the South West Detention Center.

Then, Saturday evening, police responded to a dispute between a landlord and a tenant at a residence on Park Avenue West in Chatham. Through investigation, police learned that the woman on scene was wanted on a surety relief warrant. The 26-year-old was arrested and later transported to the South West Detention Center.

Also on Saturday evening, officers responded to a well-being check at a residence on King Street East in Chatham. Police found out that the male on scene was wanted on a surety relief warrant. The 28-year-old was arrested and transported to the South West Detention Center.
