Tools stolen during break-in
Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they try to solve a break-in on Redbud Drive in Chatham.
Police said they received a call about the break-in on Monday, adding that it's believed unknown suspects broke into a resident's detached tool shed and took off with a JobMate air compressor, a 20-foot yellow extension cable, and a 12 amp Work leaf blower.
The total value of the stolen items is estimated at $300.

Woman arrested on outstanding warrant
A 27-year-old Chatham woman who was wanted for allegedly breaching her probation order has been arrested.
Police said the woman attended the courthouse in Chatham on Monday to turn herself in and was later released with conditions and a future court date.

Fake Canada Revenue Agency phone calls
Chatham-Kent police are still getting tips from the public about fraudulent phone calls that people are receiving from scammers who are claiming to be working for the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Officers said officials with the CRA will never:
- ask for personal information by email or text message
- request payment by credit card or gift cards
- share your tax information with another person or organization unless you have agreed that it can be shared
- leave personal information on an answering machine
- threaten or use nasty language
