One person sent to hospital after collision near Thamesville

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after a serious three-vehicle collision that has left one person in critical condition.

It happened Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. on Industrial Road, just outside of Thamesville.

According to police, injuries sustained by one person in the collision were serious enough that the traffic management unit was called in to investigate. The person remains in critical condition at London Health Science Centre.

Damage is estimated at around $15,000. There's no word on what caused the collision or if any charges are pending. Anyone with information surrounding the circumstances of the collision is being urged to contact police at 519-355-1092.
