Police searching for suspects in tool theft 

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after tools were stolen from a storage bin on Colborne Street in Chatham.

Police said the theft occurred sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Items stolen include a Bosch Hammer drill set, a Stihl gas powered chop saw, and a 16-inch Stihl chainsaw.  The total value of the theft has been estimated at $2,400.

Police are still looking for a suspect.

Wallaceburg woman charged with assault

A 35-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged with assault Wednesday morning.

The charge comes after police responded to a call about a domestic disturbance at a residence.

The accused was later released with conditions pending a future court date of May 31, 2019.

Man threatens neighbour, gets charged by police

A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with uttering threats after a dispute with his neighbour Wednesday night.

After being called to a residence, police said they learned the man allegedly threatened his neighbour but police did not release what was said.

The man has been charged and released with a future court date of June 12, 2019.
