Youth Fest coming back to CK

Get the kids ready for a fun filled day coming to Chatham-Kent.

The CK Youth Festival will be returning to the area on June 1.

The event is being put on by the Optimist Club of Chatham and CKRecreation. Organizers are promising a day of fun suitable for all ages which will include inflatables, face painting and other activities. Guests will also be treated to live performances from multi-talented aerialists as well as get the opportunity to learn about other summer programs coming to the area.

"Families will also have a chance to learn about summer programs offered in Chatham-Kent as local organizations display their summer camp programs and activities throughout the park," the municipality said in a news release. "Parents will be able to meet with camp staff, ask questions and take home information to help plan their summer activities."

The event is free to attend and takes place at Tecumseh Park in Chatham from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Click here for more details.
