Woman allegedly shatters mother's window

A 33-year-old woman is charged with mischief after allegedly smashing a window at her mother's house following a verbal argument.

Police said the 33-year-old went to a Chatham residence Wednesday afternoon and she was refused entry. Officers said the woman then grabbed a rake and broke a window.

She is now charged with mischief under $5,000.

Arrest made for public intoxication

A Chatham man who is under the legal drinking age was picked up by police for allegedly being drunk in public.

Officers found the 18-year-old late Wednesday night on Lacroix Street in Chatham after responding to a disturbance.

The 18-year-old was charged with public intoxication and taken into custody as he was considered to be unable to take care of himself.

Man charged with failing to comply

A 34-year-old man is facing more trouble with the law after allegedly failing to comply with his release conditions.

Police said the man was released from custody on Tuesday with several conditions, one of which required him to live at a specific address in Shrewsbury. Following a compliance check, officers learned the man had never lived there.

The 34-year-old was arrested in Ridgetown Wednesday morning and charged with failing to comply.
