Stolen ATV back in rightful hands

It was a lucky day for a Morpeth resident after his stolen ATV was recovered.

According to police, the Yamaha ATV was taken from the residence on Talbot Trail sometime overnight on Saturday. By Saturday afternoon the vehicle was recovered abandoned on McKinlay Road after a resident reported it as suspicious.

The owner was reunited with his ATV and is thanking the residents of McKinlay Road for their assistance.

Power tools stolen from barn 

Police are looking for the people who broke into a barn in Wallaceburg.

It happened sometime overnight Saturday. The suspects entered the barn in the area of Whitebread Line and made off with $1,500 worth of power tools.

Two men arrested for public intoxication 

Too much to drink turned into a night with police for a pair of 20-year-olds.

It started just before midnight on Saturday in Blenheim. Officers were called to the area of King Street after reports of a disturbance. Two intoxicated men, one from Dutton and one from Blenheim, refused to leave the area.

Police arrested them for being intoxicated in a public place and took them into custody where they stayed until they sobered up.
