The Children's Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent will see a large funding boost following the 18th annual Festival of Giving.
The Festival of Giving took place on Saturday at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham.
The Children's Treatment Centre Foundation was able to raise $232,000 during the event to benefit the centre. Those in attendance enjoyed a "Wide World of Sports" theme which included entertainment, a silent auction and a derby room.
“The yearly goal of the committee is to blow event goers minds with over the top performances, prizes and fun and I think we delivered,” said Co-Chair Tim Regan.
Proceeds from the event were also donated to several other charities across the community.
“The community support for this event is outstanding. From the volunteers, FoG committee, guests to sponsors - simply the best” said Co-Chair Chris McLeod.
