Hydro has been restored to Chatham-Kent following a large outage that impacted over 11,000 customers.
Reports of the outages started around 9:00 p.m. Saturday night.
Electrical distribution company, Entegrus Inc. stated via Twitter that they were able to restore power around 11:30 p.m.

According to another tweet, Entegrus Inc. said that the issue was with one of Hydro One's transmission stations, "Kent T-S".
In a "separate issue," Merlin experienced a town-wide outage around 11 p.m. Power was restored to the town shortly before midnight. That outage was due to a piece of defective equipment.
