Kings double Maroons 6-3 in Game 4

The Chatham Maroons are now one loss away from elimination after a 6-3 defeat at the hands of the Komoka Kings in Game 4 on Tuesday.

After the Kings took an early 2-0 lead in the first period, Zach Power scored Chatham's first goal of the game in the final seconds of the frame to cut the lead in half. Dane Johnstone scored for the Maroons 1:22 into the second to tie things up, but Komoka added another goal of their own to hold a 3-2 lead heading into the third.

The Kings extended their lead by scoring early in the final frame, and Power was able to score his second of the night for Chatham 14:23 into the third. However, the Kings scored two final unanswered goals in the last five minutes to ensure their win.

The Kings now lead the best of seven series 3-1.

The Maroons will look to stave off elimination in Game 5 on Thursday. The puck drops at 7 p.m. in Chatham.
