Man wanted on warrants found with drugs
A man who was wanted on several outstanding warrants is facing even more charges now.
Police located the man yesterday at Walmart in Wallaceburg. While searching him officers found drugs in his pocket. They also found him in possession of several items they believe he stole from a local business.
He was charged with possession of drugs while the theft is still under investigation.

A man who passed out behind the wheel is facing charges.
Police found the man in Tilbury on Sunday, asleep in a car that was still running. The keys were locked in the vehicle. Police were concerned for his safety and broke the window.
He was arrested for being intoxicated while in the vehicle (care and control of a motor vehicle.) It was also discovered that he has a condition to not consume alcohol.
The man is being held for a bail hearing. -------- Man with warrants located
Police were able to locate a man wanted on three warrants.
The man was located during a person stop in Wallaceburg. They were able to confirm he was wanted on the warrants.
He was then transported to police headquarters and held for bail.
-------- Dispute with girlfriend turns into intoxication charge
A drunk man who couldn't control himself ended up having to sober up in the company of police.
It all started when the man got into a verbal dispute with his girlfriend yesterday at an apartment in Chatham.
When police arrived to see what was going on, they found the man in the lobby. He refused to cooperate with them.
He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place and held in police custody until sober.
-------- Man arrested after screaming at Canadian Tire
On Sunday a man had to be taken into police custody after some unruly behaviour at a Canadian Tire.
The incident happened in Chatham. The man was screaming in the store's parking lot.
Police discovered the man in a highly intoxicated state. They also discovered that he had conditions related to a prior charge. One of the conditions was to avoid alcohol. He was also noticed to be breaching his court-ordered curfew.
He was taken to the police station for a bail hearing.
