Chatham-Kent police are asking for tips from the public as they continue to investigate a crash near Kent Bridge where an SUV hit a tree.
Chatham-Kent EMS reported the collision on Smoke Line west of Huffs Side Road on Wednesday around 6 p.m. and police released more details about the crash Thursday morning.
According to police, an SUV with six people inside went off the road and hit a tree after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
EMS said four people suffered injuries and police later added that one of the patients suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital in London as a precaution.
The damage caused by the crash is estimated at $2,000 and the incident is still under investigation.
