Express edged at St. John's 115-107

Two Windsor Express players scored more than 30 points, but that wasn't enough to put them past the St. John's Edge.

The Express faltered in the fourth quarter of their 115-107 loss to the Edge in St. John's Sunday afternoon. The Express are now 15-14 on the season.

It was a tight contest in the first half, with Windsor holding a slight 58-54 lead over the Edge at the intermission. The game remained close in the third but the St. John's offence burst forth toward the victory.

Chris Jones led the Express with 33 points, and Horace Wormely was close behind with 32. Tyrrel Tate added 16 points for Windsor. There were no defensive stars for the Express, with four players leading the team with seven rebounds apiece.

For St. John's, Glen Davis led on offence with 32 points. Diego Kapelan added 22 points, and Isaiah Tate III put in 15 off the bench. Davis also led in defence with 16 rebounds, good for a double-double.

The two teams complete the home-and-home series on Wednesday night when they meet again at the WFCU Centre.
