You won’t see any school buses on the road in Chatham-Kent or Lambton County and schools across the area are closing, too.
The poor road conditions caused by freezing rain early Tuesday morning have prompted school bus operators across the region to cancel the service for the day in all zones (1-8).
Catholic and public schools across the Lambton-Kent area, the Conseile Scholaire Catholique Providence school board, Wallaceburg Christian School, Chatham Christian School, and Walpole Island Elementary School are all closed for the day.
Classes at St. Clair College have also been cancelled up until 12 p.m. Tuesday.
CK Transit buses should be back on the road now and they will be heading out to secondary roads as road conditions allow.
