It looks like southwestern Ontario isn't done yet with icy conditions.
While Environment Canada has cancelled freezing rain warnings in the region, it has now put in place freezing drizzle advisories for London, Middlesex County, Elgin County, Oxford County, and Chatham-Kent.
Forecasters said freezing drizzle is expected Wednesday night and into Thursday morning.
"Hazardous travelling conditions are likely due to the potential for untreated surfaces to become icy," the advisory said. "In the wake of this weather system, strong westerly winds with gusts in the 70 to 90 km/h range may be possible."
The advisory warns that highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots may become icy and slippery. It also said tree branches could break due to ice buildup and there is the risk of hydro outages.
The freezing drizzle is expected to change to drizzle on Thursday morning as the temperature rises above the freezing mark.
