Wild weather moving through the region resulted in some watches and warnings being issued.
Environment Canada had issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent and Elgin County for Saturday night, as meteorologists tracked a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
The thunderstorm warnings were allowed to expire shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday as the storms moved out of the area. The severe thunderstorm watch ended around half an hour later.
A severe thunderstorm watch means that conditions are favourable for the development of strong thunderstorms.
