The gates to the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo in Pain Court will open for the final time Saturday morning.
The weather is expected to cooperate for the last day of the IPM, but the grounds might be a little muddy from rainfall Thursday and Friday.
Vendors, demonstrations, and live music can be seen and heard throughout the day around the tented city. The Princess contest is expected to start at 10 a.m. The Canadian Cowgirls have a couple more shows scheduled, one at 10:30 a.m. and another at 1:30 p.m. As for rodeos, one show is booked at noon and the last is at 2:30 p.m.
Although world record attempts are over, organizers will try to break an IPM record for having the most people eating corn on the cob at one time. That will happen under the World Record tent at 1:30 p.m.
Despite the event closing early on Thursday, several local residents, visitors, and politicians have made their way to Pain Court this week.
