Unusual weapon of choice in neighbourhood argument

A 58-year old Chatham man is facing charges after a neighbourhood argument got out of hand.

Police responded to a Gray Street address Friday afternoon for a disturbance.

A dispute between several neighbours got violent when one began swinging a large stick at another person in a threatening manner.

He was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He has since been released from custody with a future court date.
