Elderly Tilbury Man Dies After Apparent Farm Accident

Chatham-Kent police say their investigation continues after a farm accident claimed the life of an elderly Tilbury man.

Officers say they were called to a residence on Vanedie Rd. just southeast of Tilbury at around 6pm Thursday in regards to what appears to have been an accident involving a tractor and some farm equipment.

An 83-year-old Tilbury man was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem is scheduled to take place Friday in Windsor.

The traffic unit is currently investigating the incident and police are appealing to anyone with information to contact Constable Dan Clark at [email protected] or 519-355-1092.
