You can expect to see some road construction crews on Bloomfield Rd. in front of the ethanol plant in Chatham for the next four months or so.
A tweet from Chatham-Kent's Economic Development department says work is starting up on the reconstruction of Bloomfield from Riverview Dr. to Richmond St. and will continue for the next 16 weeks.
The project includes the installation of new storm sewers and catch basins, widening the driving lanes, installing concrete curbs and gutters, replacement of the asphalt pavement and the road base, and the construction of a new 3 m wide multi-use path.
That path will connect the bike lanes on Richmond St. to Riverview Line.
