Mixed Results For CK Cougars

There were some cheers and some tears from Chatham-Kent Cougars fans over the weekend.

The minor football club's Bantam team lost to Brantford on the road 28-14 in the first round of the playoffs -- ending their 2018 season.

The Junior Varsity team managed to complete an impressive second half comeback, though, to beat the JV Brantford Bisons at home in Chatham 43-20.

The JV Cougars outscored the Bisons 42-13 in the second half of that game.

They're moving on to the divisional finals, where they'll host Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday, August 5 at the CKSS sports complex in Chatham.
