You'll want to give yourself a couple extra minutes of drive time if you were thinking about heading through downtown Chatham via King St. W early this week.
The road will be closed between Third St. and Fifth St. from 7am to 6pm on Monday and from Fifth St. to William St. from 7am to 6pm on Tuesday for roadwork.
All of the lanes on King St. W. will be closed in those areas while the work is going on, but a detour is in place for drivers.
Emergency vehicles and local traffic will still have access through the construction zone.
