Chatham-Kent has a sixth mayoral candidate.
Allan Robert Traylor filed his nomination forms to run for the position of mayor on Thursday.
Traylor is no stranger to campaigning. He ran during the 2010 municipal election, where he received the lowest amount of votes.
This time around, Traylor says he has a plan to put "Chatham-Kent on the map".
In an emailed statement to Blackburn News, Traylor stated that one of his priorities includes creating jobs.
"My priorities is to make Chatham Kent self-supportive," he says.
Traylor says he has several ideas in terms of what investments should be made to better the municipality.
He says Chatham-Kent should focus on "a coliseum which is going to house 250,000 people and be 100% a profit."
"People will be able to invest in the new Chatham Kent with 100% confidence," he says.
Traylor is running against current Mayor Randy Hope, Councillor Darrin Canniff, local advocate Alysson Storey, Chatham resident Robert Salvatore Powers, and East Kent resident Harold Atkinson.
