Former Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has died.
Marchionne was placed in intensive care at a hospital in Switzerland late last week after suffering complications from shoulder surgery.

The company suddenly replaced Marchionne at the helm of the company over the weekend as news of his illness broke. Mike Manley, who previously headed the Jeep division, was named CEO.
Tributes to Marchionne have been posted on Twitter celebrating his life and career.

Marchionne attended the University of Windsor and called his years there among the best of life.
He often gets the credit for bringing Windsor back from the brink during the 2008 fiscal meltdown with his stewardship of the company.
Marchionne was 66.
