The watches were issued early Saturday afternoon for London, Middlesex and Elgin counties, and Chatham-Kent.
The weather agency said conditions were favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.
The watches were lifted just before 6pm.
Environment Canada has ended a yellow rainfall warning for parts of Ontario.
