Drunk In The Drive-Thru

A 63-year-old man is charged with impaired driving after a three-car crash at a Tim Hortons drive-thru in downtown Blenheim.

Chatham-Kent police say they were called to the scene at 79 Talbot St. W. just after 7am Sunday.

No injuries were reported -- the damages are estimated at $5,500.

Officers say a 63-year-old Blenheim man who was involved in the crash tested over the legal limit for blood alcohol content.

He was held in custody until he sobered up, then released with conditions and a future court date.
