More Students Charged After Another Assault In Chatham

Two more teen boys from Chatham are facing assault charges after a second youth was beaten up during school hours earlier this week.

Chatham-Kent police say in the most recently published case, a male student was assaulted while he was walking through the halls of a high school in Chatham just before 1pm Monday.

Officers say the victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment of undisclosed injuries.

Police say as a result of their investigation, officers arrested two 17-year-old Chatham youths and charged them with aggravated assault.

Earlier this week, police released information about assault charges that have been laid against four male teens after a 14-year-old boy was beaten up off of school property during his school lunch break in Chatham -- that was also on Monday.
