Three-Vehicle Pile-Up Sends Four To Hospital

A six-year-old boy is receiving medical treatment in a London hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent police say it happened at around 5:30pm Thursday on Dufferin Ave. near Forhan St.

Police say five people were involved in the crash including a 6-year-old boy who was taken to the hospital in Wallaceburg first, then airlifted to a hospital in London with undisclosed injuries.

Three other people were also taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries -- two were transported to Chatham and the third was sent to the hospital in Wallaceburg. A fifth person, who was driving one of the vehicles, wasn't hurt.

Police say the crash is still under investigation.
