Police Search In Chatham Finds Cocaine, Meth, Oxy

Chatham-Kent police say they have taken some drugs and an alleged dealer off of the streets after searching a home in Chatham.

Police say they executed a search warrant at an undisclosed location in Chatham Thursday night and seized some methamphetamine, some cocaine, and some oxycodone with a combined value of $2,800.

Officers also seized some drug-related equipment, a "large amount" of cash, and two vehicles in connection with the investigation.

A 30-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with two counts of drug trafficking, one count of drug possession, and one count of failing to comply with his release conditions.

Police say he was being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
