Maroons Eliminated By Nationals In Game 6

The Chatham Maroons have been eliminated from the playoffs in Game 6, following a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the London Nationals on Thursday.

Colin Wilson scored for London halfway through the first period, but Bryce Yetman was able to tie things up for Chatham with a goal just over a minute into the second.

James Turner scored the game-winner for London 8:34 in the second frame, and the Nationals were able to hold off Chatham in a scoreless third period.

The Nationals won the best-of-seven series 4-2.

"We had opportunities but we didn't cash in on them," says Maroons Head Coach Ron Horvat. "But I think it was entertaining for the fans of Chatham and something to look forward to here down the road."

The Nationals will now move on to face either the Leamington Flyers or the St. Thomas Stars in the Western Conference Finals.
