The head coach of the Chatham Maroons says his team needs more offence to get back into its Junior B playoff series with Lasalle.
The Maroons trail the first round series 2-0 after overtime losses.
Coach Ron Horvat says the team needs to continue to work hard and good things will come.
"We need to get a little offence out of our boys for Game 3. Pressure? Well of course there's pressure. We don't want to go down 3-0 but at the same time our guys are feeling confident we can get the job done," he says.
Horvat says his guys are spending too much time in the penalty box.
"These are some pretty good players you're using. You use them up when you're killing penalties and when you do need the offence they have the flip the switch and try to get you a goal and that's always hard to do," the coach says.
Coach Horvat says Lasalle is defending well and has good goaltending.
Game 3 is in Lasalle on Saturday at 7pm.
Game 4 is in Chatham on Sunday at 7pm.
