Stutz, Express Stop Titans 99-84

A double-double from Logan Stutz gives the Windsor Express a New Year's Eve road win.

Stutz scored 30 points and added 15 rebounds in the Express' 99-84 win over the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans at The Aud.

The win improves the Express' record to 5-6 in the NBLC Central Division.

Windsor overcame a rough first quarter to outscore the Titans 32-15 in the second quarter, going to the locker room with a 54-47 halftime lead. The Express led Kitchener-Waterloo 45-37 in the second half.

Also contributing for the Express were Shaquille Keith with 20 points and Chad Frazier with 14 points. Windsor had a 48.7% rate in field-goal shooting.

Ahmad Starks led the Titans with 15 points. Russell Byrd added 14 while Kevin Rogers and Rick Bodiford sank 12 apiece. Byrd and Greg Morrow led K-W defensively with eight rebounds each.

The Express travel to Moncton on Thursday to kick off the 2018 portion of their season.
