A 53-year-old Blenheim woman hit by a vehicle has succumbed to her injuries.
Chatham-Kent police say the woman was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries following a collision on Wednesday night, but later died. The woman was walking on Talbot Trail, just west of Fargo Rd. around 10pm when a vehicle hit her.
The driver of the vehicle is a 68-year-old Morpeth woman. There’s no word if charges will be laid as the investigation continues.
Chatham-Kent police will not be releasing the victim's name out of respect for the family.
