Early Christmas Gifts For Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Campaign

It looks like local realtors and Kiwanis Club members are in the giving spirit this holiday season.

The Foundation of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) recently accepted a $25,000 cheque from the Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown and $5,000 from Chatham-Kent Realtors.

Both of those donations are going to the CKHA's Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign.

"We believe that the impact of this donation will touch every household in Chatham-Kent," said Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown President Dr. John Button in a release. "We know if you want to attract the best and brightest health care professionals, you have to offer them the best facilities and tools to work with -- and this equipment will do just that."

That donation marks the largest gift the Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown has provided to the local community.

Meantime, the donation from local realtors was split up into two $2,500 cheques.

One came from the the Realtors Care grant, which provides funding across Canada for projects that have meaningful community impact. The second was from Brian Peifer and Deb Roberts at Royal Lepage Peifer Realty.
