Man Critical After Rollover Crash In Oneida

A 28-year-old man is in critical condition after he was ejected from a vehicle during a rollover crash on the Oneida of the Thames First Nation.

Police say an injured man was found on Oneida Rd., near Ball Park Rd. around 10:30pm on Thursday. Investigators determined the man was the driver and sole occupant of a vehicle that had left the roadway and rolled several times. He was thrown from the vehicle during the crash but was conscious when he was found.

The man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. As of Saturday afternoon, he remains in critical condition. His name has not been released.

OPP Technical Collision Investigators are assisting the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation Police to determine the cause of the crash.

Oneida Rd. was closed for several hours as police investigated. It was reopened around 4am Saturday.
