Men won't be the only ones rocking moustaches this Movember, so will Chatham-Kent fire trucks.
The Chatham-Kent Professional Firefighters Association (CKPFFA) is partnering with Chatham-Kent Fire & Emergency Services and local businesses to promote men’s health and the fight against prostate cancer.
“A moustache is a fun way to cause some sort of commotion and inquiring questions. These conversations open the door to explain what Movember is all about and raise critical funds,” says campaign co-chairman Jon Benoit. “It is also a reminder to friends and family the importance of taking action early when a health issue arises.”

The CKPFFA will be volunteering at local stores every weekend in November, helping customers carry out their purchases, selling t-shirts for $20, and collecting donations.
Booths will be set up at Sobey's in Chatham on November 5, 12, 18, 25, and 26. There will also be booths at the Real Canadian Superstore in Chatham on November 18, 25, and 26. The Canadian Tire in Wallaceburg will be participating on November 12 and 18.
“We are also encouraging everyone to, 'Grow it & Show it', and grow a moustache for the campaign through November,” explains campaign co-chairman Derek Resendes. “But, you don’t have to grow a moustache to be involved, the Movember Foundation is also running Move for Movember, you can raise money by running, walking, swimming, etc.”
All the profits will be donated to the Movember Foundation. Donations can also be made online to the Chatham-Kent Firefighters Movember Team.
