Get ready for traffic delays on Grand Ave. W in Chatham.
Lane closures will be in place starting Monday morning in the area of Grand Ave. W and Lacroix St. for road construction work.
Crews will need to temporarily shut down some of the lanes there as they work to replace watermains, sanitary sewers, curbs and sidewalks.
A release from the municipality says traffic will be down to one lane in each direction at times, but motorists will still have access to local businesses while the work is going on.
The project is expected to be completed by late October 2017.
At this point, the construction is not expected to affect CK transit services.
