A Blenheim teen has a concert memory to last a lifetime.
Renton Huggins was invited on stage to play guitar at a concert north of Barrie on Sunday with the band 'OK Go'.
The 14-year-old says he played "Song 2" by Blur and got a standing ovation, as well as a bunch of high fives from the band.
"I was like, 'me, me, me' and he looks at me and points and I say 'come on please.' I'm freaking out at that point and I can hear my mom screaming my name in the background," says Huggins.
The band even gave him a shout out on Facebook and Instagram on Monday and let him keep the guitar pick they lent him.
Huggins says it was an amazing feeling.
"When I grabbed my camera and stuff and I walked off stage, everybody in the crowd was screaming 'Renton, Renton' and I was freaking out like happy," Huggins says.
Huggins says he felt like a rockstar.
"When I went back to see my mom and stuff and the crowd, I passed like 80 people giving me high fives and fist bumps and saying good job man, you're amazing," says Huggins.
