Thieves have targeted a Chatham businessman again.
Dan Crawford says this time they struck a vacant home for sale at 167 Wellington St. E on August 14 and took a trailer.
He describes it as a black, 12 ft long, single axle trailer, 5 ft high with white wheels.
Crawford says the trailer is worth around $5,000.
He has been targeted several times including a January theft at 127 Adelaide St. S. where a large diesel generator and an aluminum brake/bender were stolen but recovered a week later thanks to some good police work and help from citizens.
