Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm watch for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
The national weather agency reported Thursday morning that conditions were favourable for the development of thunderstorms in region throughout the afternoon.
The watch was ended just before 7:30pm.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management recommends that people take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
