The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is holding a job fair Thursday afternoon as officials work to fill several positions at Riverview Gardens in Chatham.
The municipality is looking to hire registered nurses (RN), registered practical nurses (RPN), and nurse managers.
Applicants will be able to take a tour of Riverview Gardens and there will be refreshments available.
The salary range for qualified RNs is $31.02 to $44.84 per hour, for RPNs it is $24.51 to $28.84 per hour, and for nurse managers the pay is between $41.96 to $49.36 per hour.
Specific job descriptions will be available at the job fair, which is being held from 2pm to 4pm on Thursday, August 3 at Riverview Gardens at 519 King St. W in Chatham.
Parking is available off of Robertson Ave.
Thursday's job fair comes a couple of months after several staff members at the long-term care facility complained that low staffing levels were contributing to a lack of vacation time for workers.
