The Ministry of Labour has spent a lot of time at a Blenheim plant lately.
Ministry documents obtained by Blackburnnews.com show that Cross Country Manufacturing has been investigated 31 times over the last three years for health and safety violations.
They also show that the ministry has issued the truck trailer maker 113 stop work orders and other orders for everything from the unsafe handling of cranes, crane crashes and near misses to unsafe loading and unloading with forklifts.
The latest complaint was received this month regarding cranes and a near miss incident.
At this point, officials at the plant have not returned calls from Blackburn News for a comment.
