Environment Canada had issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Sunday evening for Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent and London-Middlesex.
The weather agency had monitored a series of storms moving through the area from Lake Huron.
They were produced during an intense storm last Saturday afternoon.
