CK Celebrates Canada 150 -- Sunday Fireworks

There will be a special fireworks celebration behind The Pines in Chatham Sunday evening.

Several churches in Chatham-Kent are teaming up to celebrate Canada Day with a live band, bouncy castles and activities for kids, a BBQ fundraiser for youth, and a big fireworks display at Ursuline College Chatham (UCC) on Grand Ave W.

The events start at 6pm Sunday and fireworks will begin just after dark.

"This will be a fantastic weekend of celebration," says Rev. Mitch Horner, the pastor at Evangel Community Church. "This is the proper way to celebrate a birthday -- with three nights of fireworks."
