Tackling CK's Changing Workforce

The changing workforce will be discussed at an event being hosted by the Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board.

"Attract, Retain, Engage" is a human resource focused event happening on Thursday between 3pm-8pm, at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre

"Talking about some different challenges that come up in the workforce, looking at some possible Chatham-Kent specific solutions," says Project Manager Kristy Jacobs. "Reasonably priced tickets and a really, really great keynote speaker coming to talk about the challenges and some strategies working with an inter-generational workforce."

"David Colletto is one of Canada's foremost authorities on the millennials," says Jacobs of their guest speaker. "Working with them, and how they kind of integrate into the workforce, sometimes how they don't integrate as well as some of us other generations would like to see them."

"He comes in with such a really great, kind of 'boots on the ground' idea," says Jacobs. "It's not just "Hey millennials are this and we are this.' It's kind of, how do you work together and how do you make if successful for your bottom line and your company."

Tickets are $40 and includes dinner at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre. For more information or to buy tickets, click here.
