An official with Chatham-Kent's Economic Development Services is attending a three day Great Lakes Economic Forum this week.
Mike Burton, director of investment attraction and government relations, says he's hoping to bend the ear of a few high ranking officials at the council of the Great Lakes meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday in Windsor and Detroit.
Burton says both the Canadian and Ontario economic development ministers will be there along with key players from Michigan. He says he's hoping to get a chance to speak with them about the local economy.
