Parade Of Chefs Raises $40K

The fundraising totals are in from the annual Parade of Chefs.

The event raised $40,000 for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance's Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign.

This year's sold out event held at Club Lentinas in Chatham featured Dragon's Den Investor Chef Vikram Vij.

“Our 15th Annual Parade of Chefs was once again a wonderful evening,” says Barb Noorenberghe, development officer for the Foundation of CKHA in a release. “The energy from the crowd, the chefs and celebrity Chef Vikram was unbelievable. We are very grateful for the support of this year’s event as everyone came together to raise funds for our DI Equipment Renewal Campaign."

The campaign has now raised $4.4-million of its $6.9-million goal to purchase of new equipment for the Diagnostic Imaging Department, including an urgently needed replacement of the CT scanner.
