Drivers traveling on Hwy. 401 can expect some delays in London this weekend, due to a road closure that is expected to last around 17 hours.
The east and westbound lanes of Hwy. 401 from Highbury Ave. to Westchester Bourne will be fully closed to traffic on Saturday, starting at 6pm. The highway will remain closed until 11am on Sunday, to allow for the demolition of the Veteran’s Memorial Pkwy. underpass.
Veteran’s Memorial Pkwy. will also be closed at Bradley Ave.
Police will be assisting with detours, which will reroute traffic off at Highbury Ave., Bradley Ave. and Westchester Bourne.
